Snow Boots!
Does anyone out there have a good dog snow boot recommendation? The snow will be flying soon in our part of the world, and both Piper and Murray have issues with "snow paws". We have been struggling, but trying to use, a set of boots we bought a few years back. The idea behind them is great, but we have a lot of trouble keeping them on their paws while walking or out playing. It's a wonder we have not lost one in a deep snow pile yet! We are using the Muttluks brand of boot that velcros around the leg for a snug fit. It just isn't doing the job and I am figuring there are better made boots out there today. If anyone has a set they use and love (and remember we have two big dogs) please pass the information on if you wouldn't mind. I would like to treat my boys to some new winter boots! THANKS!

Not too far from where I live, tragedy struck Wednesday morning. Six people were shot while out doing everyday errands at a car wash and bar...
Sorry, we only get snow once every year or so here (REAL snow, at least), so I haven't tried out any boots!

I haven't seen snow yet, but I have those boots too and they don't work very well either! I can do a few funny looking kicks and voila, boots are off! Hm...I've heard really good things about the UltraPaws boots though, so you might want to check them out. :-D

I gots a good idea, Murray! Just move to Florida and you won't need snow boots! :o)

ReplyDeleteWe don't have snow AND there's no way we'd wear boots. Maybe you should put them on strings and connect them over your back and shoulders...like those mittens that fit through sleeves! BOL!
