5 Common Springtime Dog Allergens

If your pup suffers from Spring allergies, this time of year can be miserable.  Just like many people suffer, dogs can too!  Some of the most common Spring allergens are:

Dust and mold spores Tree, grass and weed pollen that's inhaled Flea bites Cleaning products Feathers and dander
Common Symptoms of Dog Allergies: Itching Chewing on themselves (especially paws) Irritated skin Rubbing their face on carpeting or furniture Goopy eyes Red, irritated ears Sneezing Loss of hair Stomach upset

My Bed Loving Dogs

I love that I have somehow made both of my dogs LOVE going to bed at night.  Once they have done their night bathroom trip, they come inside and Piper heads directly upstairs and settles into his dog bed and Murray follows me around downstairs until we head up together.  He then happily leaps onto our bed and nestles in.  They both sleep soundly the entire night and are not even early risers.  They get up when we get up, and Murray even sometimes lingers in bed past us.  So on this Friday evening, feeling tired after a long week, I am very grateful for my sleep loving, bed snuggling pups!  Happy Weekend!

Well Done Buddy!

Why Do Your Pup's Paws Smell Like Fritos?

Dog paws smell like fritos due to bacteria that's naturally found on their feet from things such as walking around outside in the environment and licking....but around here, we don't mind that smell one bit!  :)
