Can We Teach Murray New Tricks?

I think I have decided (finally) that it's important Murray learns how to swim.   I suspect he will be a dog that naturally knows how, but we need to work on overcoming his fear of going out above his head, or I guess I should say chest, in water.  To me it looks like he wants to have fun in the water like his brother Piper, and it's kind of sad to me he just can't bring himself to do it.  I also (most importantly) want him to have the confidence in situations where he is around water in case he should NEED to swim.  I have been looking through some helpful videos, but will take any advice anyone is willing to share.  Thanks!
